Sadie Wilderness Lodge

December 21st, 2009 · No Comments

sadie.jpgNext on the list is the Sadie Cove Wilderness Lodge, Alaska, which runs totally of the grid by generating their own power with the use of wind and hydro electric generating units. The rustic ambiance gives a new meaning to the word relaxing in a true sense. Want a weekend away from the hassles and stress of daily life, then this is the place to be. Love wildlife, well you’re in luck for the place is located near the “Bear Watching Capital of the World”, and the rest of the natural wildlife provides visitors a taste of Alaska as it should be, clean and green(sometimes white). The structure of the lodge is made up of drift-wood which was scavenged from the surrounding areas thus not impacting the already fragile eco-system of the Alaskan wilderness. The lodge has free water equipment they throw in for free with the lodge able to house up to eight guests for a few days of relaxing nature in the Alaskan Wilderness.
